Last weekend XRAY drivers achieved great results. It was a long weekend because 2 different races were organized on the same week. The first race was the KCSD Championship on Saturday which was held at the RC Arena, on an indoor carpet track in Budapest.
The qualifying runs brought close racing for the first position on the grid. Eventually János Birinyi secured the TQ position ahead of his teammate Gergő Marosi.
In the finals János didn't give his opponents any chance to catch him. János won all three finals with a lap ahead of his opponents.
The other race on Sunday was a different championship with completely different racing conditions.
This race was the 6th, the last round of the East Hungarian Championship in Debrecen, on an outdoor asphalt track.
János Birinyi won all his runs with confident driving, ran TQ and track record times and won the race day.
With this win he secured his 6th win in this racing series, won the championship with maximum points and achieved the East Hungarian summer challenge champion title with a perfect, 100% result.
